Deepmindz has created a mobile application named Supportive Supervision (SS), designed as a supervisory tool for Alive & Thrive. This application introduces innovative ways to oversee the progress of the Poshan Abhiyaan administrative team, enabling them to showcase their contributions to the system. The app streamlines the daily and monthly responsibilities of the administrative cadre, making it simpler for them to log the advancements they make in supporting AWW and AWH. This initiative will enhance the educational aspect of the program and contribute to elevating the service quality delivered to beneficiaries.
The Application will have the following benefits:
- The App helps supervisors plan their visits and avoid conflicts with dates
- The App ensures that Supervisors are doing supportive supervision of all their supervises in a set periodic time frame
- The supervisors can access the list of all the supervisees under them through the app and schedule their interactions
- They can use a simple digital checklist to observe, assess and record information about the quality of services instead of cumbersome paperwork
- The checklists have provision for collecting information on the satisfaction of beneficiaries with the services, hence, act as an in-built feedback mechanism
